Newly designed WePlayVR to debut at large UK attractions events

Following a successful event season in 2018, AiSolve is delighted to announce we are attending EAG International 2018 on the 15th-17th January at the ExCel London Exhibition Centre.

EAG is one of the largest UK events for the local and international amusement and attractions sector that dates back to 1936. Operators and owners from the theme park, FEC and arcade markets descend on EAG to learn and experience more about the future of the attractions industry and how best to deploy new products.

After an exciting show in Orlando at IAAPA, we’re thrilled to once again partner with Bandai Namco to bring our newly designed WePlayVR arena and multiplayer experience, Star Defence, to EAG. This will mark the first time the new design will be showcased in the UK.

The new WePlayVR enclosure features our same sleek modular look redesigned to focus on an advanced leaderboard system and more open space to watch players inside the arena. Still a compact footprint, the brand-new 3m x 3m WePlay comes with a leaderboard and can host multiple players. This comes just in time to coincide with the release of our first multiplayer experience, which delivers a significantly higher ROI for owners and operators.

Star Defence, which debuted at the end of 2018 both in Europe and the US, continues to establish its presence as the first multiplayer game for AiSolve. The new title brings intense, collaborative in-game interaction to the players as they work together in this sci-fi adventure set inside a spaceship under attack by seemingly unstoppable drones.

Star Defence is an epic game and an exciting new addition to WePlayVR that has already built a fan base at diverse global locations including Family Fun Centre in Seattle, Belle Epine shopping mall in France, Centro Colombo and Arrabida shopping malls in Portugal and our most recent installation in the Mall, Luton.

Beyond playing Star Defence, attendees at EAG can catch AiSolve CEO Devi Kolli giving a 15-minute presentation on immersive technology – what is driving VR and AR and best practices for operations. She will speak on January 16th between 2pm-3pm, sharing insights on how to work with amusement distributors and support the market process.

Since exhibiting at EAG last year, AiSolve has had an exciting year. Our location based VR attraction product line has expanded, we’ve launched some of the most compelling location based VR experiences available and introduced a multiplayer game. We even rolled out our first IP partnership with Cartoon Network to bring their WeBareBears: Food Truck Rush VR experience exclusively to the WePlayVR platform. In 2019 we will continue rolling out new and exciting immersive experiences around the world for individuals and families who want to have fun together in our highly immersive, incredibly interactive spaces.

Soon we will be announcing new installations so please keep up to date with our blogs by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.
